Our rural hemp cooperative near Reading is looking for an organiser to reach out and nurture volunteers from all parts of our community, including those that find it hard to access the countryside.

This casual hours role would be helping to prepare and deliver Hempen’s M&E in and around the Berkshire area. 

You need your own vehicle to set off from our HQ, just outside Reading in Oxfordshire, with Hempen’s product boxes and kit traveling to a M&E and back. Once at the M&E you will be setting up and selling our products as a stallholder.

We are seeking to work with someone who lives locally to us, as this would make leaving for the market in the mornings or night before easier. Sometimes setting off for the market can be as early as 7am.

For this role we can provide in-depth training of our products and wider hemp industry knowledge, as well as general sales training.

This casual hours role is to help prepare and deliver Hempen’s M&E in London. 

The role has two ways in which you can apply for; driving logistics or driving logistics and working as a stallholder. The driving role would involve setting off from our HQ, just outside Reading in Oxfordshire, traveling to London and back in Hempen’s van to resource our farmer’s markets in London with product boxes and kit over a weekend. The role could be supplying one or several M&E based in London across one weekend.

In addition to the driving role, there is also the possibility to work the market as a stallholder. This would mean selling Hempen products at one of the farmer’s markets we service, in between dropping-off and picking-up M&E’s.
